The new division will provide an enhanced product portfolio of insurance products specifically designed for businesses and professionals operating in the cannabis and hemp industries. The new division will focus on professional lines (professional liability, cyber, crime, D&O and EPLI), general liability, product liability, property insurance, crop insurance and workers compensation.

Joining AIS from FSI are Michael Peters (Founder/CEO) and John Pokryfki (Co-founder/Broker). In Michael’s new hybrid capacity, he will oversee management at FSI , while serving as Vice President for AIS’ cannabis division. Prior to founding FSI, Michael spent his professional career in insurance working for MedPro Group and Risk Placement Services. John Pokryfki helped found FSI after spending over 20 years in the insurance field including 13 years as a regional AVP with MedPro Group. John will spearhead direct sales efforts for cannabis professionals (lawyers, accountants, real estate brokers, etc.) and cannabis and hemp businesses.
