Axis Insurance Services, LLC was founded in 1999 in Yardley, Pennsylvania by Mike Smith, a former practicing CPA with PriceWaterhouse (PWC) and a former Chief Financial Officer in the insurance industry and subsequently moved to its current location in Northern New Jersey. In 2012, Axis took on a Partner, Javier Gonzalez to complement the growth plan of the company In 2014, the company formed PL Risk Advisors, Inc. to provide the same level of service to our retail brokers. Together they have grown the company to $40 million in annual sales with 30 employees operating in almost every state.

Axis Insurance Services LLC is a licensed retail professional and management liability broker specializing in Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions and Cyber related exposures for professional services firms, primarily insurance agents and brokers and real estate firms. Their sister company PL Risk Advisors, Inc offers the same services to retail agents in almost every service industry. Over just the past ten years, the company has had over $250 Million in sales premiums and experienced on average a 20% growth rate each year.
