Axis Insurance Services, LLC's Professional Liability Broker, Paul Hacker will speak at the New York City and Downtown Chapter of SIOR’s virtual seminar on Cyber Security, on February 4th from 3PM-4PM EST. The seminar will be discussing the recent big-name hacks, including the one on the federal government and the future of cyber security.
Paul Hacker is thrilled to speak at the Commercial Real Estate Audience. “I am honored to have the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge on Cyber Crime with the Downstate and NYC Chapter of SIOR. Hackers are infiltrating all firms, from small to large, private, public or municipal in every line of business. Small firms are not immune to a cyber-attack. As a matter of fact, cyber criminals consider small to mid-size firms as low hanging fruit because they do not have the most up to date security, do not have a VPN, generally have not set up multi-factor authentication, and do not have the IT expertise nor staff to monitor and mitigate malware. As a result, it does not take a lot of effort for Hackers to target small to mid-size firms, lock up their systems with ransomware, and make a quick $30,000-$50,000.”Click here to register for the event.
