October 24, 2014 - Axis Insurance Services announced today that have exceeded their goal of raising $10,000 for Autism Speaks in 2014. Axis employees participated in several events including a walkathon, a social fundraiser and door to door solicitation. As part of Team Franklin Lakes Cares, all the employees combined to raise $11,892.15, the fifth most of any one team at the Northern New Jersey event. Mike Smith the CEO of Axis Insurance Services raised $5,586.00 and was among the most of any individual walker participating in the Northern New Jersey Walk. Combined all of the walkers at that event raised $478,511 for research and for those affected with this broad diagnosis.
According to Mike Smith President & CEO, “We believe in serving in the community is an important part of our organization. I am very excited that we were able to support such a worthy cause. Our employees worked very hard and gave their time. We are looking forward to next year’s campaign.”
