To truly learn about a company sometimes you need to start at the bottom as an intern. That’s why we are pleased to be spotlighting one of our rising stars, Joe Ferri as part of our Axis Spotlight for the Month of February as we celebrate his fifth full time year at the company.
Joseph Ferri began his career as an intern with Axis, working part time while attending Ramapo College, learning how insurance business works. Upon graduating with a Business administration degree in 2020, he was hired to come on full time, right as the COVID pandemic hit. However, he has quickly established himself as one of the industry’s rising professionals. His job is primarily sales, working with new clients to get the best coverage while also working with his account managers to facilitate quality products for our existing clients.
When asked about his time here, Joe had this to say, ““Reflecting on my 5 years with Axis, I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside such a talented team. Every day has been an opportunity to learn, challenge myself, and make meaningful impacts on our clients. I’m proud to be part of a company that values dedication, innovation, and most importantly customer care. I could not be more excited to see what the future holds as we continue to evolve and reach new heights!”
In 2025, he joined the board of the New Jersey’s Young Industry Professionals and is excited to network with his fellow professionals moving forward. He leads our charity team, coordinating with various organizations throughout Northern New Jersey, particularly the food pantry CUMAC, working with the organization to coordinate volunteer hours and donations.
CUMAC is a local organization who served over 72,000 individuals last year meeting the needs of the food dependent population in New Jersey. Joe can often be seen stocking shelves, hauling donated food to the shelter and even serving Thanksgiving dinner for the needy. For more information about CUMAC: https://www.cumac.org/
Joe currently lives in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with friends.
