For the second consecutive year, Axis Insurance Services and PLRisk proudly participated in the Autism Speaks Walkathon at the Meadowlands racetrack on September 20th. It was a day of family fun as our employees, and their families walked the racetrack to promote Autism Speaks Over the past two months our company has been raising funds to donate to a great cause. All told, we raised over $26k across multiple donors.
Kristen Westerduin, charity committee member, was proud of our efforts. “Axis Insurance Services and PLRisk Specialty Insurance Agency are happy to be able to work with Autism Speaks once more to fundraise for their cause and to help spread awareness for their support of the autism community. We are so grateful to our staff and partners who have come together for our fundraising event, which occurred this past Thursday. We greatly appreciate all of those who have helped us, including our Charity team and staff, to raise the funds for progressing research, growth, and understanding. We would also like to give great thanks to our generous sponsors of the fundraiser. With all the donations from this event, we raised $1,600 dollars in addition to the $24,000 our clients, families, and friends have also contributed to this cause. We hope to continue our support with the Autism Speaks team in 2026.
